Why is Engineering considered as the Best Career Option

Engineering is the practical application of science and math to solve problems, and it is everywhere in the world around you. From the start to the end of each day, engineering technologies improve the ways that we communicate, work, travel, stay healthy, and entertain ourselves. There will always be a demand for skilled engineers in many different fields, some of which are brand new, emerging areas while others have existed for 500 years. As society develops and improves, engineers are called upon to make these changes to create a better, sustainable world to live in.

Engineering is the Ultimate Field for Challenge and Creativity

Engineers work on exciting projects and influence how our world changes and improves. If you are curious about how things work and have a keen mind for applying what you learn to solve real world problems, Engineering is the perfect avenue for your talents. Be prepared to dedicate years of learning and practice to master a field of engineering; don’t expect to build an A380 airbus or the next Burj Khalifa (currently the tallest building in the world) within a year of completing your degree.

Learn skills you can apply anywhere
The skills that you develop as an engineer are incredibly valuable and highly sought after. People will turn to you to help solve problems for them. The ability to provide practical solutions to problems is crucial and will give you great confidence when faced with any challenge or obstacle. You also learn how to manage your time effectively, work as a part of a team and develop into a true leader. These skills can be applied to any area of your life.
                                                           Great Rewards and Opportunities
As an engineer you will rank amongst the highest paid professions in the world, even as a graduate. One of the first, and easiest, steps you can take to determine if you would enjoy engineering is to discover which industry or discipline you would like to work in. Once you have an idea of the field you would like to work in, find out which qualifications you need to obtain.
Every engineering branch has its significance. It depends on the choice of the student. Today most jobs are available in service sector. EEE students are mostly absorbed in the core sector unlike ECE. Core sector means sectors like power. EEE has many opportunities and students are not opting for it due to lack of awareness.

Any engineering course with Top engineering college in North India has lot of scope. Any raw material to be converted into a product, it has to undergo many processes involving chemicals. Almost everything we use is chemically processed. India’s top industrialists like Mukesh Ambani and others are chemical engineers. You can join any manufacturing industry and go towards research and development. A student of chemical engineer can also specialize in various fields like biotechnology, environmental engineering and others. If you want to move into service industry like IT, which has many branches, then functional knowledge is necessary.

Every branch offers good employment opportunity. Engineering is a design-oriented subject. Design involves problem solving. If you become a good problem solver, every branch of engineering offers you great opportunities.
The Indian education system has seen drastic changes in the past few decades. The expansion of the Indian economy in 1991 through liberalization and globalization has led to a massive increase in the number and variety of jobs offered to professionally educated individuals – most notably engineers. This has ignited a tremendous interest in most of India’s educated youth to receive a college level education in engineering, clearly visible in students from high school.

One of the most characteristic features of university application and selection procedure in India is the famed entrance test. There are primarily two entrance tests for entry into engineering programs known as the AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) and the IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology – Joint Entrance Exam). These tests have acquired a reputation for being some of the hardest entrance tests to pass not just in India, but all around the world.
Also with the growing pressure to pursue professional courses, Indian students today spend enormous amounts of time and energy preparing for the entrance tests resulting in stress levels which are always much more than what these adolescents can handle.
On the brighter side, the accepted few are certainly ready to face the challenges of studying at India’s renowned technological institutions, ranging from modeling real problems on the ground faced by the millions of rural poor who cannot even afford irrigation, to solving complex mathematical equations for calculating the trajectory of India’s next space satellite in collaboration with France
With tuition fees less than half of that demanded by most western universities, on-ground interaction with rural development initiatives and establishment of countless multi-national organizations in its rapidly emerging cities, India has definitely secured itself a place on the map, not just for students in Asia, but from around the world.
